COLUMBIA, S.C. – TaylorMade Golf Company will establish a new golf ball production facility in Pickens County. The company will invest $13 million in creating the new state-of-the-art facility.

“The opportunity to have a permanent home in Pickens County was too good of an opportunity for our company to pass up,” said John Kawaja, executive vice president at TaylorMade Golf. “We are getting a new building in a booming area that will improve our unit production, quality and margin position. Most important, we are committed to keeping jobs in South Carolina.”

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Swift Group of Industries, a maker of replacement refrigerator filters, will establish a new filter manufacturing facility in Clarendon County. With an initial $3.5 million investment, and further investment planned later, the company expects to generate 60 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sunny Z Foods Inc., a producer of pre-packaged instant meals, will establish its new production facility in Saluda County. The $12 million investment is expected to generate 150 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Smooth-Bor Plastics, a maker of plastic tubing and hoses, plans to establish its new manufacturing plant in Spartanburg County. The $1 million investment is expected to generate 22 new jobs over the next four years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – SMF Inc., a full-service metal fabrication company, today announced that it will establish its new production facility in Anderson County. The $5.8 million investment is expected to generate 146 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Silcotech North America Inc., a manufacturer of silicone components, today announced plans to locate its new facility in York County. The $3.5 million investment is expected to generate 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – PTR Industries, a Connecticut-based rifle manufacturer, plans to relocate its manufacturing operations and corporate headquarters to Horry County. The more than $8 million investment is expected to generate 145 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – PDM US Corp., a manufacturer of pre-insulated copper pipe, today announced that it is establishing a new production facility in York County. The $1.33 million investment is expected to generate 20 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Owens Corning (NYSE:OC), the leading global producer of glass fiber reinforcements for composite materials, has announced the addition of a new warehouse facility to its existing operations in Aiken County. In cooperation with the development partner, the total project is expected to cost $7 million.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – McLaughlin Body Company, a manufacturer of operator protection systems, will locate a new manufacturing facility in Anderson County. The $22 million investment is expected to generate 250 new jobs over the next five years.
