COLUMBIA, S.C. – Crown Casting Industries, a modern iron and bronze foundry, today announced plans to open a plant in Greenwood County. The $16 million investment is expected to create 50 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Crescent Dairy & Beverages LLC will be investing in a new ultra pasteurized beverage processing facility in Colleton County. The proposed investment is expected to exceed $30 million and anticipates generating 60 new jobs within the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Con-Pearl North America, a maker of lightweight recycled plastic boards, today announced plans to establish its first North American production facility in Greenville County. The $14.25 million investment is expected to generate 51 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – CEL Chemical & Supplies, a maker of chemicals for the paperboard and packaging industries, today announced the establishment of its new facility in Anderson County. The $900,000 investment is expected to generate 15 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – TD Bank today announced that it will expand its corporate operations at the bank’s campus on Interstate 85 in Greenville, creating more than 1,400 new jobs  in the next three to five years.  TD Bank will also add more than 200 new positions in Lexington.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 21, 2011 – Sportsman Boats Manufacturing Inc., a maker of saltwater fishing boats, today announced plans to establish its new facility in Dorchester County. The $2 million investment is expected to generate 30 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Scio Diamond Technology Corporation (OTCBB: SCIO) today announced plans to establish its new corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations in Greenville County. The new operations are expected to generate 70 new jobs over the next five years.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sasco Safety, a maker of highway safety products, today announced its new operations in Barnwell County. The $1.9 million investment is expected to generate 25 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Britax Child Safety Inc.,  a manufacturer of premium car seats, strollers, baby carriers and accessories, today announced plans to build a new state-of-the-art U.S. headquarters and operations facility in York County. The company’s investment of more than $26 million is expected to bring 243 new jobs to the county.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Benefitfocus, a leading healthcare and benefits technology provider, was joined today by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley and Charleston Mayor Joe Riley as the company unveiled a new Design and Engineering Building on its Daniel Island campus. The new 80,000-square-foot facility can accommodate 475 associates at capacity, adding to the company’s 68,000-square-foot corporate headquarters.
