Columbia, SC – Proper Polymers plans to build a new facility in Greenville County to manufacture injection molded components for the automotive industries. The development will bring $15.45 million in investment and lead to the creation of 87 jobs.
A division of Proper Group International, Proper Polymers Greenville will be building a 50,000-square-foot facility in Greenville County’s Matrix Park, expandable up to 100,000-square-feet. The company is a strategic supplier to large Tier 1 integrators.
Sun City Produce establishing new Upstate distribution center
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Sun City Produce, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sun Commodities, Inc., is establishing operations in Greenville County. The project is expected to create 81 new jobs in Piedmont, S.C. over the next five years.
Headquartered in Pompano Beach, Fla., Sun Commodities, Inc., which operates as the Sun Group of Companies, is a privately-held organization majority-owned by Hillandale Farms. As a leading producer of fresh fruits and vegetables, the firm is aiming to expand its growing retail market across the Southeast in the coming years.
BUSCOT LLC establishing operations in Colleton County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – BUSCOT LLC, an Italy-based producer of specialty bearings, is establishing manufacturing operations in Colleton County. The $1.15 million investment in the project is expected to create 10 new jobs over the next five years.
BUSCOT LLC will locate and lease space in the Meter Bearing facility located at 220 Anderson Road in Walterboro, South Carolina. Meter Bearing also located to Walterboro from Italy.
