COLUMBIA, S.C. – Suzhou Glacier Import & Export Co., Ltd., a global textiles manufacturer, is establishing Upstate operations with the creation of Cold Mountain Material Corporation in Greenville County. The company is investing $24 million to open a new manufacturing facility, creating an expected 109 new jobs in Travelers Rest, S.C.
Molina Healthcare establishing operations in Charleston County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 17, 2013 – Molina Healthcare, a managed care service provider with existing operations in 17 states, today hosted the grand opening of its new office facility in Charleston County. The new office at 4105 Faber Place Drive in North Charleston is expected to support 150 jobs in the area.
STARTEK Inc. selects Horry County for customer support center
COLUMBIA, S.C. – December 16, 2013 – STARTEK Inc., a global provider of business process outsourcing services, today announced plans to locate a new customer support center in the Myrtle Beach area. The company’s investment of $10 million is expected to create as many as 665 new jobs over a five-year period and result in an annual economic impact exceeding $45 million, according to studies by economists at Coastal Carolina University.
Materials Sciences Corp. to open new Greenville manufacturing facility

The $11.5 million investment is expected to generate as many as 149 new jobs over the next several years.
American Tactical Imports establishing operations in Summerville
COLUMBIA, S.C. – October 28, 2013 – American Tactical Imports (ATI), a worldwide importer of firearms, ammunition and tactical equipment to the United States, announced today that it will open a warehousing and distribution location in Dorchester County. The Eastport Industrial Park location in Summerville also will be the site for limited firearm assembly, as well as the company’s headquarters, its customer service center and its sales office. The $2.7 million investment is expected to generate 117 new jobs.
Palmetto Railways Acquires Additional Noisette Property

Colgate-Palmolive Company establishing new facility in Greenwood County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – October 7, 2013 – Colgate-Palmolive Company is investing $196 million to establish a new production facility in an existing 525,000 square foot building in Greenwood County. The plant is expected to begin operations in 2014 and will generate 300 new jobs.

JN Fibers Inc. locating facility in Chester County
COLUMBIA, S.C. – September 25, 2013 – JN Fibers Inc., a manufacturer of recycled polyester staple fiber products, is establishing a new manufacturing facility in Chester County. The $45 million investment is expected to generate 318 new jobs.
