Scout Motors Inc. (“Scout”) is establishing its first manufacturing plant in Blythewood, which is near Columbia, South Carolina. At the Richland County site, the company will build all-electric, next-generation trucks and rugged SUVs harkening back to the iconic Scout vehicles produced from 1960 to 1980. The company’s $2 billion investment has the potential to create 4,000 or more permanent jobs. At full capacity, more than 200,000 Scout vehicles may be produced annually at the facility.

Erchonia Corp. (Erchonia), a global, laser technology manufacturer, today announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters to Greenville County. The company’s $6.7 million investment will create 51 new jobs.

IKO, a leading, global manufacturer of roofing products, today announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operations in Chester County. The company’s $363 million investment will create 180 new jobs.

Pallidus, an innovative silicon carbide (SiC) wafer semiconductor manufacturer, today announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters and manufacturing operations to York County. The company’s $443 million investment will create 405 new jobs.

Milo's Tea Company (Milo’s), a leading beverage company, today announced plans to establish its first South Carolina operations in Spartanburg County. The company’s $130 million investment will create 103 new jobs.

Engineered Foam Packaging (EFP), a subsidiary of J.B. Poindexter & Co., Inc., today announced plans to establish operations in Lee County. The company’s $15 million investment will create 53 new jobs.

Established in 1954, EFP is a leader in the design and manufacturing of custom protective packaging and cold chain solutions.

FlexCold, a leading cold storage warehousing and logistics company, today announced plans to establish operations in Dorchester County. The company’s $49.9 million investment will create 59 new jobs.

Orion Performance Compounds, Inc. today announced plans to establish operations in Kershaw County. The company’s $13 million investment will create up to 54 new jobs.

A manufacturer of highly engineered thermoplastic compounds, Orion Performance Compounds, Inc. will blend melted resins with carbon fiber, lubricants and other additives to form custom materials for use in final markets such as automotive, aerospace, medical and more.

Redwood Materials, a producer of anode and cathode battery components for electric vehicles, along with Governor Henry McMaster, today announced plans to establish operations in Berkeley County. The company’s $3.5 billion investment, which marks the largest economic development announcement in the history of South Carolina, will create 1,500 new jobs.
