COLUMBIA, S.C. – A family business that specializes in the manufacturing of garden products, premium potting soils and both natural and organic dry and liquid fertilizers is establishing operations in Anderson County. FoxFarm Soil and Fertilizer Company is investing $6.9 million to locate in Pendleton S.C., creating an expected 27 new jobs.
Kiswire, Inc. to commence second phase of Newberry County expansion
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kiswire Inc., a manufacturer of steel cord and bead wire, is commencing the second phase of its Newberry County expansion. This phase, a $30 million investment, is expected to result in 45 new jobs in Newberry, S.C. The first phase of Kiswire Inc. Steel Cord Division, announced in January 2013, represented a $15 million investment and 30 new jobs, which came to fruition when production began at its new manufacturing site in December of last year.
Zapp Precision Wire, Inc. expanding Dorchester County manufacturing facility
COLUMBIA, S.C. – Zapp Precision Wire, Inc., a manufacturer of stainless steel, nickel alloys and titanium wire is expanding its operations in Dorchester County. The company will be investing $30 million in the expansion, adding an expected 20 new jobs in Summerville, S.C. Founded in 1701 in Germany as a craft trade firm, the Zapp Group has committed more than three centuries to the steel industry.
